Last updated: June 29, 2026Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide when you create an account, place a puppy ad or breeder profile, save listings, subscribe to Puppy Alerts, send messages, contact Pawbe, or make a payment. This can include your name, username, email address, phone number, city and state, listing details, photos, messages, and payment-related transaction records.
We may also collect standard technical information such as IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referral source, and basic usage data through cookies, analytics, and similar technologies.
How we use information
We use information to operate and improve Pawbe, maintain accounts, publish listings and breeder profiles as requested, enable messages and saved listings, process payments through our payment providers, send account and service communications, prevent fraud or abuse, and understand how people use the site.
We may send transactional emails such as password-reset links, listing notices, payment confirmations, account notices, and Puppy Alert emails you have requested. You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails using the unsubscribe link in those emails.
Payments
Pawbe uses third-party payment processors to handle card payments. Pawbe does not store complete payment-card numbers on its own servers. Payment information is handled according to the payment provider’s privacy practices.
Cookies and analytics
Cookies help Pawbe remember settings, keep accounts secure, measure performance, and improve the experience. You can manage cookies through your browser settings, though some features may not work properly if essential cookies are blocked.
Your choices and account controls
You can review or update many account and listing details through My Account. You can remove or edit active listings, manage Puppy Alerts, and request help with account information by contacting us. Some information may be retained when needed for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or legitimate operational purposes.
Children’s privacy
Pawbe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and address the request.
