Creating and managing ads
How do I place a puppy ad?
Go to Place an Ad, choose a Regular Puppy Ad or Breeder Directory Profile, then create a free account or log in to continue. Add the details and photos, preview your listing, and review the total before payment.
What is the difference between a puppy ad and a breeder profile?
A Regular Puppy Ad is for an available puppy or litter. A Breeder Directory Profile is a longer-term profile that helps families find your breeding program even when you do not have a current litter listed.
Can I edit my puppy ad after publishing?
Yes. Sign in and visit My Account to manage your listing, update details, adjust photos, and review activity.
Can I preview my ad before I pay?
Yes. Pawbe lets you preview the listing and review any optional visibility upgrades before you complete payment. Nothing goes live until the payment step is completed.
Finding and following puppies
How do buyers contact sellers?
Open a puppy listing and use the contact options shown there. Some contact actions may require you to sign in so Pawbe can help reduce spam and keep communication cleaner.
Can I save puppy ads or compare favorites?
Yes. Create a free account, then use the save or love option on puppy listings to keep favorites together and compare them later.
Can I get alerts for new puppies?
Yes. Use Puppy Alerts to choose a breed and location. Pawbe will email you after you verify your alert.
Can Pawbe help me choose a breed?
Yes. Try Breed Match to compare breeds by size, energy level, and family needs. You can also explore individual dog breed pages.
Smart steps before you commit
Does Pawbe guarantee sellers or puppies?
No. Pawbe provides a listing platform, account safeguards, and helpful safety reminders, but buyers should still verify seller details, ask questions, and use good judgment before sending money.
What should I watch out for?
Be careful with anyone who rushes payment, avoids questions, refuses a video call or basic verification, uses copied-looking photos, or asks for unusual payment methods. Never send money until you are confident the seller and puppy details are real.
What is the safest way to communicate?
Message through Pawbe when available and keep a clear record of the conversation. Avoid sharing unnecessary personal information, and verify the seller and puppy details before making a payment.
Who do I contact if something looks wrong?
Use the Contact Us page and include the listing link, seller name, and a short explanation. Pawbe can review reports and take action when needed.
